A leg locking system that will leave your jaw on the floor.
We have three unique leg-locking systems: ParaLock, Twist Grip and Twist Lock.
The Parallel Lock (ParaLock) is unique to 3 Legged Thing, and unique to Pro Range 2. The leg locks are weighted to reduce the centre of gravity and widened to give better torque, the result being greater rigidity. Each lock is inset with tactile 3M rubber pads, for ultimate grip in any conditions.
The Twist Lock is available on our Punks Tripods, and is a simple twist mechanism, with our unique bubble-grips - designed to provide better water displacement and grip.
Twist Grip is a hybrid grip system unique to our Legends Range, that combines the technologies of ParaLock and Twist Lock. With bubble-patterned inset 3M O-Pads, the Twist Grip is a machined alloy lock with inset circular Pads, for ultimate grip and water displacement.

Punks Tripod Systems
The unique Punks range provides many of the features of our Professional Range, in a more compact and affordable bundle.
Our Punks range comes in two distinct colour schemes, the natural Blue/Grey and our Punks Anarchy Matt Black. With greater functionality than most in this class, and load capabilities upwards of 14 kg / 30 lbs, the Punks are unmatched in quality and capability. Detachable monopods and removable centre columns are two of the key features of 3 Legged Thing Punks.
Our entry level range is the equivalent of most brands' professional level products. Every Punks tripod features removeable and reversible centre columns to enable low level shooting, and our unique "Bubble" grips for better grip and water dissipation.
ELLIE SYSTEM
Our unique, innovative, modular and incredibly versatile universal L-Bracket system, provides solutions for almost any camera, with multiple mount and compatibility options with Arca-Swiss and Peak Design Capture V3.
Ordinary universal L-brackets are limited both in functionality, and compatibility. Ellie is the world's first truly universal L-bracket, and just happens to be the most functional, modular and configurable L-bracket on the planet.
AIRHEDS
We offer some of the most awesome heads in the world. From 360 rotational heads to lever clamps, and video heads with smooth-action tilt mechanisms.
We offer two distinct ball head options with our professional range of tripods - AirHed Pro, and AirHed Pro Lever. Our flagship Legends range Mike and Jay are available in kits with the AirHed Cine, with two different clamp and plate options - Arca Swiss for DSLR and mirrorless users and users of long lenses with Arca shoes, or Standard Video for use with video cameras. Legends Range Ray and Bucky are available in kits with the awesome AirHed Vu ballhead, which gives users a window into the internal mechanism.
